Launched in 2012, the Microgaming Ambassador Programme supports individuals of outstanding ability, knowledge or repute who represent the company locally by attending charity functions, staff events, and the occasional gathering at Microgaming's HQ.

The first ambassadors were all established or up-and-coming sports stars from the Isle of Man. In return for their association with the Microgaming brand, not to mention their invaluable tips on competitive training, we provide them with support as they compete in events across the globe.

Ben Grainger

Ben became an ambassador in June 2017 aged just 14 years old. The rising Para athlete, who is managed by the Isle of Man Swimming Association (IOMSA), has established himself as a promising talent in swimming.

Not only is Ben a member of the Microgaming Isle of Man Para Swimming Team, but he is currently training in the Isle of Man and with National Performance Centre in Manchester in preparation for the Paralympics in Tokyo. Ben was named Disability Sports Person of the Year at the Isle of Man Sports Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Ollie Lockley

Talented Isle of Man runner Ollie Lockley was named as a Microgaming  Ambassador just days after becoming the fastest Manx marathon runner in history, completing the 2020 London Marathon in just two hours, 19 minutes, and 40 seconds. In 2019, the elite distance runner ranked fifth in the UK for the half marathon distance and his current marathon ranking is ninth. He has also flown the Manx flag at four Island Games, scooping four golds and two silvers.

Driven to succeed at the highest level, Ollie’s ambitious goals include representing the Isle of Man at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games and qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
